Middle School Adventure - Tuesday, January 19, 2010

Independence, Teamwork and Respect for Others are critical elements of a successful life.

In Troop 333, 11 to 13 year olds have a great time, canoeing, hiking, camping and playing games.  Teamwork and planning ahead are essential, if you are going to stay warm, dry, well fed and hydrated. Teamwork is required to plan and cook meals, cleanup together and to stay safe when hiking or canoeing. We stress all these things as we coach our Scouts, as they run the troop.

See this link for an overview, with photos.

25 Year Anniversary - Troop 333 - Monday, December 21, 2009

We will celebrate our 25th year of Scouting at our Court of Honor on May 24, 2010. We are inviting Scouts and parents from past years to come and share in the fellowship. (February 3, 2010 is the anniversary date.)

We will have displays of photos, flags, Philmont maps, old uniforms and Court of Honor programs. There will be time for the founders and early members of the troop to share their vision and favorite memories with us.

In addition, we will hold a Court of Honor in which we formally  recognize  our Scouts for awards and advancement. If you would like to contibute to the celebration, please call Committee Chairman Stephane Guillard at 260-4627 or Scoutmaster Dale Lewis at 673-5679. Updates and Photos will be posted on this site over the next few weeks.

Calling Troop 333 Youth Leaders - Saturday, December 19, 2009

We are pulling together a history of Troop 333, and would like to contact our previous youth leaders. The full story lists all the SPLs since the troop's begining, with a few exceptions. (A few Court of Honor progams are missing, so we don't have a record.)

If you can help us locate one of these young men, or have a COH program you can donate, please call either Committee Chairman Stephane Guillard at 260-4627 or Scoutmaster Dale Lewis at 673-5679.

Please send your thoughts, ideas and photographs to dblewis333@comast.net for inclusion in the troop history.
